Synopsis:
Strange alien artifacts begin appearing inside UNIT's Black Archive. Each object is unmistakably linked to a different regeneration of the Doctor, but they've been tampered with. A corrupted energy signature of unknown origin pulses through them, and their sudden arrival has torn tiny ruptures across time and space.
To solve the mystery, UNIT calls upon a little-known incarnation of the Time Lord: the Fugitive Doctor. But how does UNIT know about her? And is she the Doctor they expect?
The Doctor, Osgood and Andrew are joined by Kate Lethbridge Stewart. A final mysterious object is manifesting, this one at the pinnacle of UNIT Tower itself.
A Time Bomb! Which threatens a dark future for all of the Doctor's incarnations.

Robert Valentine, writer of Full Circuit, said: "I was thrilled to write the climactic episode of the Circuit Breaker saga, and it was quite the responsibility. The Doctor, Osgood and Andrew have been on this perilous journey together, and it all pays off at UNIT Tower, where Kate Stewart is facing a massive threat to the safety of the planet, and only they can stop it.
"It was also huge fun pairing the Fugitive Doctor with Osgood and Kate, because Jo Martin's Doctor is an irreverent, no-nonsense incarnation with no sentimental baggage about her UNIT allies, so her Doctor can say things to them that no other version of the Doctor could. And that was a blast to write!"
Director Barnaby Edwards said: "It was a great joy to work with the Fugitive Doctor. This was my first experience with Jo, and I'm keeping everything crossed that it won't be my last. I love her! She's so fresh and funny and natural. Robert wrote a really good script and Jo completely locked into the humour and the pathos of it. She defines the sound and rhythm of Circuit Breaker."

She's a fantastic character, and Jo as an actress is a gift that keeps on giving. She is capable of so much depth and tenderness, but also such strength, and that lends itself so well to the character.
"People think they know the Fugitive Doctor from everything we've seen of her, and part of the process of writing this was asking: how much of what we've seen is a front that she puts up to protect herself from the world, and how much of it is really who she is in her heart? Which was a really fun dichotomy to play around with."
